Staff Accountant – start 7/1/2008
 
The College is seeking a candidate with extensive accounting education/knowledge to assist the Director of Operations in the accounting functions of the business office. Experience in a business office is desirable, but not required. This position will be part-time with the potential for full-time. This position will report directly to the Director of Operations.
 
Responsibilities will include review of annual and quarterly payroll reports prepared by payroll service, preparation of the annual 990 filing, preparation for annual independent financial audit, reconciliation of student, financial aid, and general accounts, processing of annual and quarterly retirement account contributions, prepare financial reports for finance committee meetings and board meetings, prepare monthly budget reports for all departments, assist with annual budget preparations, assistance with various reporting requirements as needed (WASC, etc).
 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. CPA certification is also desired. Candidate must have good computer skills and an aptitude for learning new software. Will be working with QuickBooks, GradPro (SIS) student information system, and Microsoft Office products.

Choir Accompanist
 
The college seeks an accomplished musician to serve as the part-time piano accompanist for the college chorale. This is an academic year appointment from August 2008 through April 2009. 
 
Duties include playing for weekly rehearsals and several performances throughout the academic year.
 
Qualified candidates should possess evidence of Christian faith, experience as an accompanist (music degree preferred), and proficiency in sight-reading. Organ experience is preferred. In addition the candidate should be able to articulate a Reformed understanding of music and worship.
