President N. James Den Ouden has announced that he will be retiring effective July 1, 2009. Den Ouden has faithfully served in Christian education for more than 30 years, the last four of which have been spent at Providence Christian College. Known widely in the Reformed Christian community, Den Ouden’s service has been invaluable to the establishment of Providence.
A presidential search committee has been established and tasked with seeking the second President to lead the college in the pursuit of its mission and vision.
