An important element of a Providence education is applying classroom learning to real-life situations. One way to accomplish this is through mission/service trips.
3/6/08: Providence Community Generous Yet Again
Providence Christian College endorses a covenantal view of education. In this view, the whole Christian community is involved in the education of our students. One of the major ways the Christian community has been involved in the establishment of Providence is through generous monetary donations to the college. The second annual Providence Christian College cattle auction was an endorsement of such generosity.

10/6/07: All Campus Retreat: Community, Creation, Challenge
This was the third annual All Campus Retreat, part of the Providence 4-W program (Weekends of Work and Worship in the World). The design of the retreat is to help the students grow closer to God and each other.
9/10/07: Mexico 4-W: Proclaiming the Gospel to Others and to Ourselves
"They want to spread the riches of God?s grace to Tijuana," explained Adrian Crum, a sophomore at Providence Christian College when describing his parents' ministry in and vision for Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
6/29/07: Providence Students Are Very Satisfied With College Experience
During the annual Student Development Day, the students were all given the Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI), which is administered by Noel-Levitz. In short, Providence students are extremely satisfied with their college experience.
5/30/07: May Term Students Serve in the Dominican Republic
"This trip was truly eye opening. It was a blessing to see God's people serving Him around the world, and we were also given a chance to serve God in ways we could not have predicted."
