Section III — On-Campus Employment

Providence has job opportunities on campus, especially for students with financial needs. These jobs are similar to Federal Work Study jobs, but our students are hired as part-time employees of the college. The college employment is available to full-time, residential students. Students are paid the California Minimum Wage. Students are expected to work no less than 4 hours a week, and no more than 20 hours a week. Students are eligible for on-campus employment after fulfilling the following requirements:

  1. Complete an IAA form and job application.
  2. Complete an interview and orientation.
  3. Demonstrate an ability to maintain the academic workload (freshmen wil be placed on probation until mid-semester).

Off-Campus Employment

The Office of Student Life has listings of job opportunities in the local community. These positions are released to both residential and commuter students in good academic standing. Wages and application information will be determined by the employer.

Section IV — Outside Financial Aid
