I work part time in the library and have been enjoying getting to know the students here at Providence.

I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with an Elementary Education degree. I have taught 1st and 2nd grades and also preschool.

My husband Len is the superintendent of Ontario Christian School. Since we have been married we have lived in Ontario, California; Chicago Illinois; Lynden, Washington; Walnut Creek, California; Lafayette, Indiana; Lake Worth, Florida, and now we are back in Ontario. All of these places have been great places to live and we now have many friends around the country.

We have four grown children; three are teachers. We also have five adorable grandchildren and two new ones on the way.

When I am not working I like to sew, read, scrapbook, quilt, and garden.
