Admissions Counselor

In August, Max Belz joined the Providence staff as an admissions counselor. Max is a 2008 graduate of Covenant College with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in education.

He has spent the past year working as a recruiter in the Covenant admissions department. He is excited by the prospect of working at a new institution such as Providence, saying, “I want to contribute to the expansion and establishment of Providence as the Reformed Christian college of the West.”

Raised in the Presbyterian Church in America and attending Reformed Christian schools in grades K-12, Max has been steeped in the truths of the Reformation from childhood. Max is the second of five children, and two of his younger siblings currently attend Covenant College.

He enjoys all types of music and literature as well as singing, playing the piano and playing soccer.
