Jo Ann Vander Meulen is the food service manager for Providence Christian College. Her first work with the college was catering President Den Ouden’s inaugural banquet, but her role quickly expanded to include consulting on retrofitting the kitchen area and then becoming the full-time manager of food services. Jo Ann strives to make students and guests feel welcome in the cozy surroundings of the college café.
Growing up in a family that was active in the food service industry—from summer camps to catering—prepared Jo Ann for her position with Providence. In addition, she ran a professional catering business for over seven years and truly enjoys pleasing people with food.
Jo Ann has been married to her husband, Gordon, for over 25 years, and they have lived in the Chino/Ontario area for that time. They have three children: grown daughters, Lindsey and Amanda; and son, Chad, who attends Ontario Christian School. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, camping, traveling, and reading. She also enjoys cooking, crocheting, and decorating. Her family attends CrossPoint CRC and is involved in various ministries there. |
