The Academic Support and Career (ASC) Center offers academic support and career planning services. Together we help and encourage each other to grow academically and consider God's call in our lives.

Services Provided

Academic Support

Students seeking academic help may take advantage of a variety of opportunities including:

  • Evening "Food for Thought" study sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
  • Peer editing and writing assistance by email and in person for students who want feedback on their essays and research projects.
  • Mentor groups for new and provisional students.

Career Planning

For students needing advice and instruction on preparing for their chosen careers, the ASCC assists students with programs such as:

  • "Calling and Careers" seminars where students may hear lectures and have their questions answered by professionals from a variety of fields.
  • Workshops on résumés and cover letters.
  • Practice job interview sessions to help students prepare for life experiences.
