On Friday, August 29, the expectant community of Providence Christian College welcomed 19 new students to its new campus. These young adults came from all over the country and Canada to attend freshmen orientation before the returning students arrive. Providence Takes Up Residence in Pasadena
On July 31, Providence Christian College found that it takes the whole community to move a college. Approximately 50 volunteers joined with Providence staff, faculty, students, and alumni to move Providence to the campus of William Carey International University in Pasadena. Read more…

English Professor Aaron Belz's new book of poetry, Lovely, Raspberry (Persea, 2010), was recently reviewed in The Rumpus, an online culture magazine.
Professor Troy Lamberth recently worked as a field producer for the 2010 Harvest Crusades in Anaheim, CA. Many of the interviews that he conducted will be included in a special television program that will air nationally and internationally on the Trinity Broadcasting Network.
Dr. Ryan McIlhenny's article, "'God Is In Your Head': Neurotheology and Religious Belief", was published in the American Theological Inquiry (3.2). The full issue, including his article, is available for free download from the journal's website.
Dr. Russ Reeves presented his paper, "The Immediacy of Salvation in the Second Great Awakening: How Revivalism Redefined Evangelicalism", at the May 2010 conference of The Historical Society which met in Washington, D.C.
Providence has announced its first on-line academic journal, Ethos: A Journal of Providence Christian College. It will contain the exceptional scholarly work of the Providence student body, including senior theses and other research essays.
